I help entrepreneurs, business owners and investors launch, grow and sell their companies. I’m always ready to work with those who are as passionate as I am about business.

Company sale, uk

If you’ve been building your business for the last 15 years and you’re now thinking of selling, you want to know you are in good hands in securing the future for yourself and your business. We help you put everything in place that help you get the most value out of your business. The things we’ve put in place will help the business grow anyway, even if you don’t end up selling.

Want to be in a city where things are ‘happening’? L.A. looks like it’s having a ‘moment’ - a confluence of talents, skills and ambitions descending one spot. And what a spot it is becoming: tech companies, journalists, script writers, financiers, artists and dealers, and much more.

The brief was to run workshops with management to help define the strategy and the business model.

brewery, republic of congo

“Look - a Chinese person!”. Imagine being an hour’s drive from the nearest city in the Republic of Congo. You decide to take your translator and driver for a break in the local cafe. In walks a 5 year old boy with his father holding his hand. He sees you and tugs his Dad’s hand: “Papa, tu vois, un Chinois!” (“Dad, look, a Chinese person!”). Since you’re not Chinese, you really wonder. Then it dawns on you: the boy must associate all foreigners with being Chinese because Chinese foreigners are the only ones he sees - he doesn’t know any different. You only get insight like this by immersing yourself on the ground. The project was a large industrial build that required:

  • feasibility study

  • financial mapping

  • fundraising

  • investor relations.

In 2012 there was a main street in Sulaymaniyah on which the city’s young people played a unique game of “drive-by dating”. Kurdish society was undergoing huge shifts. Villagers moved to cities as the economy boomed on the back of oil revenues and at the same time young, more liberal diaspora returned from abroad to make their fortunes back at home. The resulting mix caused frictions, but also gave rise to hope. And on the main strip, the city’s young, still bound by traditional values of their parents, experimented with modern dating - choosing your own partner. While in most of the land restaurants were still typically single sex, on the strip women and men slowly drove up and down the main road in their cars, trying to catch a glimpse of a potential date. Like the look of someone? At the stop-light, hold your number up to the window for the other person to take it down. Then wait for your phone to vibrate. Markets like these are truly ‘emerging’ - of course not without their risks but with huge hopes and dreams.
